The international conference "The circular economy: “the number one priority” for the European Green Deal" will be held on September 19-21, 2022 in Sremska Kamenica (Republic of Serbia).
The conference is held within the Erasmus + Jean Monnet Projects program of the project “The circular economy: “the number one priority” for the European Green Deal” (CIRECON) No. 619927-EPP-1-2020-1-BG-EPPJMO-PROJECT.

 

The conference will be concentrated on promoting the discussion and reflection on the mechanisms that will enable participants to acquire new knowledge about the EU and its’ questions in the fields of circular economy and renewable energy in the EU. This three-day conference will be incluide the main themes presented in the fields of circular economy and renewable energy. The conference will be open to academia, researchers, professionals in the fields of circular economy and renewable energy, policy-makers and interested public where a special focus will be paid to engagement of postgraduate students and young professionals. By bringing all these stakeholders together, it will provide space for the cross-fertilisation of the ideas and fostering of the dialogue between them. We invite relevant stakeholders from other EU countries and countries-partners  to present their research. Through the participation of European partners the conference will provide a comparative angle and bring an added value to the reflection on the discussed issues.
     

The conference is mainly targeted to the international academic community, but welcomes participants outside academia, too (e.g. EU experts, representatives of civil society, public officials, policy makers, etc.)

 

Participants of the the conference:  researchers, specialists, students, civil society organizations and public and private stakeholders dealing with circular economy at the national and EU level, etc.
 

Participation in the Conference is free of charge.

 

The conference is hybrid.
